The Grand Ballroom History of the Grand Ballroom

The International Trade Center, formerly the P.G.& E. building was originally constructed by the Wishon Family in 1924. The building then known as "San Joaquin Power and Light." Bronze plaques are still positioned above all the entries to the building with the original logo.
Fourteen beveled glass chandeliers and twenty-three ceiling spotlights provide ample lighting throughout the room. Each of the lights is controlled with a dimmer system allowing for various settings and effects during any function.

• Sit-Down or Buffet style service with banquet seating to 350
• Room set-up and clean-up included, damage or cleaning loss deposit is required
• Elevated head table
• Guest seating on rounds of 8 per table
• Including the white wood gazebo chair
• Choice of linen colors
• Fully covered brides table skirting
• Eight Foot White Lighted Pillars behind Brides Table
• Draped gift table, cake table and guest book table
• Standing reserved signs or table numbers
• Uniformed wait staff with tuxedo shirt, vest and black bow tie
• P.A. system with cordless microphone
• Lighted fichus trees throughout the ballroom
• Controlled heating and air-conditioning
• Turn of the century ladies lounge
• Chandeliers and ceiling spotlights with dimmers
• Free Parking
• Bone china, stemmed glassware, Balmore pattern flatware
• Free Cake cutting and serving on disposable service ware
• Complete reception coordination, no additional charge
• Complete Master of Ceremonies, no additional charge
• Maitre D' Service for all buffets
• Piano available, at no additional charge
• Coffee station available all night at no additional charge
• We can setup a receiving line for you if requested
• We allow 2-3 hours of decorating time prior to the function
• Center pieces or fresh floral arrangements cannot be prepared on premises
• Bar and DJ Service must end 30 minutes prior to ending of function
• We allow a maximum of 6 hours of reception time, ending no later than midnight. (12:00AM) |
